Objects of Memory: writing the stories behind the things we keep
A new mini-course from the Memoir Studio invites writers to reflect on the stories behind the objects in their lives.
The Memoir Studio has just launched the first of a series of mini-courses: “Objects of Memory: writing the stories behind the things we keep.”
Every object has a story. Let’s write it down.
This 3-module mini course is designed to help writers explore meaningful (or mysterious) objects from their lives and write vivid, emotionally honest short memoir pieces around them.
The course is aimed at reflective adults (55+), especially those drawn to the emotional weight of physical things — letters, recipes, tools, keepsakes, heirlooms, photos, etc.
The course is delivered in a convenient, self-paced format consisting of a printable workbook with lots of prompts, reflections and room for your notes.
Cost: This mini-course would normally sell for $49 but it is on sale now for only $30.
